ki-rūpe pāiba sevā mui durācāra śrī-gurū-vaiṣṇave rati nā haila āmāra
Word for word
ki-rupe--how?; paiba--will attain; seba--devotional service; mui--I; duracara--misbehaved; sri-guru--to the spiritual master; baisnabe--and the Vaisnavas; rati--attachment; na--not; haila--is; amara--of me
Translation

I have no deovtion for either the Vaisnavas or my own spiritual master. How is it possible for a rascal like me to attain devotional service?

aśeṣa māyāte mana magana haila vaiṣṇavete leśa-mātra rati nā janmila
Word for word
asesa--completely; mayate--in illusion; mana--my mind; magana--immersed; haila--is; baisnabete--for the Vaisnavas; lesa--a little; matra--even; rati--devotion; na--does not; janmila--become manifested
Translation

My mind is always drowning in illusion. I have not even the smallest fragment of devotion for the Vaisnavas.

viṣaye bhuliya andha hainu dibā-niśi gale phaṅsa dite phire māyā se piśācī

bisaye--in sense objects; tuliya--considering; andha--blind; hainu--I have become; diba-day; nisi--and night; gale--around my neck; phamsa--the noose; dite--is placed; phire--moves; maya--illusory energy; se--this; pisaci--witch
Translation

I have become blind by constantly meditating on the objects of the senses. The maya-witch has placed a hangman's noose around my neck.

ihāre kariyā jaya chāḍāna nā jāya sādhu-kṛpā binā āra nāhika upāya

ihare--this; kariya--having done; jaya--victory; chadana--relief; na--does not; jaya--attain; sadhu--of the saintly devotees; krpa--the mercy; bina--without; ara--and; nahika--there is not; upaya--a remedy
Translation

Even if I can cure my blindness and defeat the maya-hangman, I cannot become free from material illusion without the mercy of the saintly devotees.

adoṣada-rāśi-prabhu patita-uddhāra ei-bāra narottame karaha nistāra
Word for word
adosada-rasi--O purifier; prabhu--O Lord; patita--of the fallen; uddhara--deliverer; ei-bara--this time; narottame--Narottama; karaha nistara--please deliver
Translation

O master, O purifier of the sinful, O savior of the fallen souls, please rescue this Narottama dasa.
